Google typically truncates meta descriptions around 155-160 characters on desktop and 120 characters on mobile. Aim for 150-160 characters with the primary keyword near the start.
Use lowercase letters, separate words with hyphens (not underscores), keep it under 75 characters, and include the primary keyword. Avoid stop words like 'the', 'a', 'of' when possible.
The minimum set is og:title, og:description, og:type, og:image, and og:url. Twitter Cards use twitter:card, twitter:title, twitter:description, and twitter:image. Most platforms fall back to OG tags.
There's no fixed rule, but pages with 1,000-2,000 words of substantive content tend to rank better for competitive terms. Length alone doesn't help; depth, accuracy, and usefulness matter more.
